Toni Kunst is a QTBIPOC artistic director, educator, and theatre artist/performance maker who has directed/staged works and assisted productions at professional theaters such as Steppenwolf Theatre, The Goodman Theatre, Theatre Wit, Metropolis Theatre, and The Museum of Contemporary Art, among others. Additionally, she has presented work at the Bay Street Theatre in New York, First Stage Theatre in Milwaukee, and several other locations. She is currently a department chair and assistant professor of theatre, where she also directs, technical directs, and manages the costume and prop shop.

She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre, an MFA in Performance, an MA in Performance Studies, and is finishing her doctoral work in Performance Studies.
